Originally Incorporated in October 1916 as Southland CT Association, the Club formed part of the Commercial Traveller’s Club’s National Network.

In 1987 the building that the Club owned in Don St was purchased by SBS to make way for its new Headquarters and the Club built its current premises and in 2003 changed its name to Club Southland Incorporated.

Club Southland is a member of the Clubs NZ Incorporated and welcomes Members with reciprocal visiting rights to participate in our Southern Hospitality.

Enquiries and interested new members are welcome but visitors and guests do need to be introduced (signed in) by a member. This can be arranged by enquiring at the Bar.

Function Rooms are available for hire and we can cater for Birthdays, Weddings, Conferences, Workshops, Product Promotions and Meetings. On site catering with competitively priced menu choices are also available.

Bar snacks and light meals are available at all times and Dining Room (more formal) meals are available on Friday and Saturday nights.
